Due Gatte

Clarinetist Ginny Scarfino and pianist Michelle Kyle perform together as Due Gatte. Being cat lovers whose families include cats, we agreed on the name Due Gatte, which means two (female) cats in Italian. We usually wear cat ears when we perform, because it is more fun! Our cat ears were made by Pat Burnell, whose Puddy Products support the Feline Friends Network of Stratford. Since we are both members of the Waterloo Chamber Players and the Kitchener-Waterloo Community Orchestra, we perform occasionally for fund-raising events for these orchestras. We've performed short pieces at a retirement home, and Brahms' first clarinet sonata at a chamber concert.

Here is a video of Due Gatte playing a half-hour program at St. Andrew's Kitchener on June 12, 2024.
